Military trumpers are having 2nd thoughts.

Heard from an acquaintance, her two 40+ y/o #trumper sons in the #Army are worried. One is a M/Sgt with 20+ and the other has 18 yrs. Both are wondering if their pensions will be there. They haven't quite denounced #MAGAmoron but they're no longer enthralled. Everyone knows senior NCOs run the military so if their support is wavering, good chance the military will not follow illegal orders.

@DemocracyMattersALot Here's an interesting analysis/history of illegal #presidential orders. Bottom line, the military can't arrest or detain a president, especially given the #SCROTUM ruling but they can def ignore illegal orders. For example, #KentState could have been prevented if the #OHNG just refused to be used as cops.

@NPR Hate to say it but among older #Asians, #groupthink is the norm. No one is allowed or encouraged to think "outside the box" so #voting is futile. Among Japanese (and I suspect other Asian cultures) the party line is "shigata-ga nai" (can't be helped) or, colloquially, "shit happens." #Asians invented, "go along to get along." That's why I've never fit in with other Asians.
