Anyone watching the #StateOfTheUnuin address to #Congress on Tues 2/24? 🤔

I can't stand looking at #POTUS47 let alone listen to him. 🤦♂️

So, I'll read reports of it later.

I just hope he doesn't say anything else that will tank the financial markets & devolve the world into further political chaos but I wouldn't bet against it. 🤷🏻♂️

As a fan of figure skating, I:ve Been watching #Alyssa for a long time.

Her retirement & comeback to win the Gold Medal is an incredible story, as is her birth origin if you care to dig into it.

IMO, despite the slight "hot mic" gaff spoken in the moment, I think #Malanin (who is only 21) handled his melt down on the ice in the Men's Free Skate with amazing grace & maturity faced with questions not one of us would have wanted to answer in a similar situation.

If I happened to me, all I would have wanted to do would have been to run & hide & lick my psychic wounds BUT Malanin stood in front of cameras & reporters answering the painful questions without being defensive or reacting with antagonism (as #POTUS47 famously does when asked questions he doesn't want to hear or answer).

It will be a long 4 years to get back to the #Olympics but Malanin should make it back & I hope he will have conquered the yips & wins the Gold Medal the next time around.

But, yeah, until then, it would be best if he stopped referring to himself as the #QuadGod. LOL! 🤦♂️

@noodlemaz @jeridansky I would still pay for the previously recommended vaccinations for my children (if I still had any that I had to care for) even if insurance refused to pay for them under the new guidelines . . .

Unfortunately, many other people can't afford to do that . . .

which reminds me, I need to mention this to my DIL that I'll pay for anything that is not covered so that she'll continue to get my 2 grandchildren (10 & 7) vaccinated for EVERYTHING, in case their insurance starts to refuse to pay for all vaccinations.

@jeridansky Doesn't mean you still can't get all of #vaccinations for your children but it may provide an excuse for insurers not to pay for all of those that where dropped from the list. ☹️

The few times I get to visit w/my grandchildren, who are only 7 & 10, their noses are buried in their phones. ☹️

Would have bought some coffee cups & totes as well, but I considered them too small.

FWIW, IMO, the the dimension of totes you are selling are only 16.5x14.5x4" which is only good as a book bag.

To be useful for grocery shopping, which is what I use my totes for, they'd need to have a base of around least 14.5x10.

I also prefer larger 14 oz coffee cups to the 11 oz cups that you're selling.

I got my RSV shot a couple of years ago; get a flu & Covid shot annually; and got 2 variants of the Shingles vax (Shingrix & Zostavax) & 3 variants of the Pneumonia vax (PCV 15, 20 & 21) previously.

There's a 4th type of pneumonia vax (PPSV23) that was most recently released.

Asked my PCP about it & he said I didn't need it, since I got the other 3 already but, from what I've read, PPSV23 covers some things the others didn't. So, I'm still thinking about getting it too.

The article also notes that Scherzer played in Tennessee for Vitello which makes more sense if they try to get him instead of (or in addition to Verlander) on a 1 yr FA rental.

Read that about Vitello too. He's been a winner at the college level but that's obviously not the same as the Big Leagues. It will certainly shake things up if it happens.

As far as pitching goes, why would the Giants go after Scherzer when they still have the possibility of re-signing Verlander in their pocket? 🤷

Besides that, they're both long in the tooth & well past their prime, who provably have have a few good games in them but can't the Giants do better than either of them in the open market? 🤔

As an #AsianAmerican & #SFGiants fan, I'm appalled at the idea of the possibility of Posy hiring Kurt Suzuki as the manager of the team.

He wouldn't have put a #MAGA hat on unless he believed in & sympathized with that POV &, besides, he's had no managerial experience & is unqualified for the job.

Yes, Verlander pitched a good game.

105-67 pitches/strikes thrown in 7 innings giving up only 1 run on 4 hits (1 a solo HR) & 4 BBs with 4Ks but unfortunately he didn't get the win again.🤷

And happy for Gilbert who is 1 more hitless game away from getting sent back to Sac.

@steter That ALWAYS made sense to me given how poorly Verlander has pitched so far this season & doubt they'll much if anything for him for that reason. 🤷♂️
