@feditips. Thanks for all you are doing. I hope “MAS-37 Restrict who can reply to a post” can be given more priority as a safety issue (possibly gender-related, but I have no proof). I’m starting to see the merits of precluding quote tweets. I see the latter is in the works, but I hope users will be able to preclude quote tweets. On balance, I’ve enjoyed my experience on Mastodon, however its increasing popularity means increasing gender-based risks & risks for racialized persons.
I can’t seem to find out whether there are ways to: • forbid #replies to one’s posts (or particular posts)? • #remove particular replies from one’s posts?
Blocking or muting individuals doesn’t remove their unwanted or inaccurate replies. Currently the only remedy I’ve found is to delete my whole post.
