@dalias @angiebaby idk, I think "the us government can possess and distribute csam, why wouldn't I be able to?" is an ironclad legal defense. Especially with this administration who seems to use whataboutism as a religion.

(To be 100% clear, I'm of the opinion that any entity possessing csam is disgusting and should be very illegal)

@vozercozer I get sad every time I get reminded of Lunduke. He was my entrypoint into Linux, I watched his youtube vids and conference talks all the time back when he was "apolitical" (or maybe I just didn't know any better). Around the time trump started his first campaign is when this guy started being the worst and I was pretty devastated at the time. Just an unfortunate situation all around

@dalias i mean, is it though? The whole meme with anubis is that it's more effective the more people use it. At scale it dramatically increases cost to scrape I would imagine
