My G502 scroll wheel click just died after 9 years.
I could be a consoomer and by a new more "typical" gaming mouse (Razer, Corsair but not Logitech, I heard their most recent mouses have bad double click issues specially on the newer G502 models).
be a bit smarter and by a repairable mouse (Endgame Gear OP1 or their other models, maybe a Mechkeys Zaopin Z2 but It's wireless which isn't what I'm looking for tbh), note on these two, they are both G Pro look-a-like which isn't really what I like, I prefer a heavy and more comfy mouses but I can always adapt I guess.
last option, I make my mouse into an actual Frankenstein mouse by buying a used or broken G502 on ebay and repairing mine (Keep in mind my mouse is 9 years old and the LEDs died years ago, the scroll wheel is loose sometimes it scrolls itself when I move my arm too quickly, I wore through the original skid pads which I changed last summer so some new parts for it would be good.)

I found this on FB Marketplace.
I kinda want it for the lols but I don't need it. The more I look at it the more I think it's not gonna fit my NH-D15.
I'll bookmark it and see if it's available later.

@Forestofenchantment No I'd be running Gentoo on that just for the hell of it.
I used to have Gentoo on that laptop but I got tired of leaving it plugged in for like 3/4 days to update it (clang took ~15 hours to compile). So I nuked everything and installed Debian 12 knowing 13 was coming out soon but i386 is no longer supported
:(
