A bunch of right-wingers knew there was a trans woman in the Barbie movie, but couldn't figure out which Barbie they were supposed to be angry about. On the dangerous future of paranoia and transphobia: https://www.readtpa.com/p/transphobia-and-right-wing-paranoia
I just sent an email to corporate.responsibility@target.com letting them know that caving to fascist threats of violence hurts LGBTQ people and only emboldens the people who hate us.
I doubt it will matter, but I wanted to say something.
WTF is wrong with some people? Why tell me what I "should" be doing, and why act as if I'm not a queer person myself?! "You *should*..." No, you should be doing anything but posting in my replies.
Kindly asking people to STFU with defenses of Target that are like, "They're just trying to keep their employees safe!" Because this will only encourage more attacks.
In his 2016 piece where he giggles about wanting Trump to win to show that history isn't on the side of progressives (yes, he says that), Damon Linker describes himself as a "centrist neoliberal."

Rando: OH, SO YOU WANT PEOPLE IN 'RED STATES' TO SUFFER
