     (1 of 2) Some advice: coming from somebody that truly doesn't understand trans people it probably doesn't help that we see the trans community push for medical procedures on children. It would be easier to listen to the alarm bells if we weren't already tuning out the people that are pushing for kids to transition.

     Again, you do not have to understand trans people (or even like trans people) to understand that the anti-trans movement is wrong here, that what they're pushing is a gross violation of human rights.

     Please push back on politicians and pundits advancing the eliminationist anti-trans agenda.

     Because, again, this doesn't just stop with "Look, we're only banning it until 19, only banning it to 21, only banning it until 26" stuff.

     They want to ban the ability for trans people to transition *at any age.*

     We need federal-level protections now. Because one this kind of stuff happens, it doesn't slow down. The anxiety of just... existing right now is a lot.

     And this is what Republicans would absolutely do on a federal level if given the opportunity. I'm scared, and I know all of this is only made worse by the unending media debate over the legitimacy and authenticity of trans people. It's been getting worse and worse, and there's been such little push-back.
