#subwaytooter の場合、翻訳機能は前からずっと端末上の別アプリに丸投げする形で実現してるので、Mastodon4.xで追加された翻訳APIを使ってサーバ運営に負担を強いるのはどうなのかなー、って思ってます。
あの翻訳APIってゼロコストじゃないので、サーバ運営から見たら支出が増えるんです。
端末上の別アプリに投げる形だと翻訳コストの負担は別アプリの提供形態によって様々です。Google翻訳なら無料ですし、Deepl翻訳ならアプリのユーザがサブスクできます。

@uint8_t it's thumbnail image.

@uint8_t the bytes size of each media attachments are not included in status data. if you want to see it before loading, you might have to get server side support of improving API.

@BioFris ST provides client-side keyword muting for historical reasons, but after Mastodon's server-side keyword filtering implementation, it appears to users that the same functionality exists multiple times with different names. There isn't much prospect of extending client-side keyword muting. Your suggestion should be made to the Mastodon official, not the app
