Standard Blu rays can be up to 200 GB (though I guess 128 GB is more common format) - the most aggravating AAA slops are still <500 GB to download, but except those very few titles one could fit *mere* 99.99 % of games on 1 to 2 discs, which sounds reasonable. Whole Cyberpunk 2077 + Phantom Liberty DLC installers aren't even 100 GB to download from GOG iirc. Instead of having it on single disc (+complimentary digital copy - something like what Bandcamp does when you buy cassette/CD/vinyl), I have to download it all, and if I don't want to redo it after system reinstall, I have to keep the GOG installers on my SSD, which is "reasonable" only by the virtue that I don't really have other need for that drive space. For the record - there are even more data dense contemporary WORM memory technologies, but there is little interest or investment in their commercialization, because everyone is hellbent on not making things physical, because "it's all in the cloud?", and if you don't have Gigabit connection, it's your problem. :Fury:

Not everything is made by trannies, but there is hardly any software that they didn't molest yet, I guess I would have to switch IBM AIX to get away from that. :KoyukiSad:
