The CSU has a contract for all students at all 23 campuses to get a free ChatGPT account. Today my university shared this draft of our Writing Center website. There is no way around it. The CSU has given up on education. There is nothing about this that is writing anymore. At most, this is a very low level skill of command prompting a machine. No text produced by students can be used for any educational purposes nor used to assess learning ever again on campus. And I will refuse to assign writing and I will absolutely not be forced to read and evaluate machine generated texts. Fuck. This. Shit.

Someone close to me has confided that she’s bisexual and struggling. I’d really appreciate any books or resources and even some bisexual history to share with her if anything comes to mind. She’s married to a man and has no plans to divorce or split, but it is causing a lot of pain at the moment. Thanks in advance for your help.

Anyone have any suggestions for how to buy ebooks other than kindle? I have pretty good luck with Apple Books and they treat authors slightly better than Amazon, but their selection is limited. Amazon is hard to escape. Would love alternatives, particular books I could buy and use Apple Books as my reader, but that’s not a requirement.

One thing: I really wish the MSM would *stop* saying "hush money to a porn star" and "cover up an affair". He was convicted of ELECTIONS FRAUD. This *matters*. Having sex (barely consensual if it all) with a porn actor is NOT illegal, nor is lying about it to your wife. Spending campaign money to influence an election by manipulation of information and the media: Illegal. This is about elections and core democratic principles.
