Been experimenting with lists (never bothered with any of that on Twitter). But I can only see 4 in the sidebar of the toot.community website using my laptop browser ?
How can I see more of my lists at a glance - without first clicking on the lists button?

Today I've been writing about this little feather from a Eurasian jay, a colourful crow that loves acorns & buries them to eat later - it's a planter of trees, maker of woods.
There are only around 16 of these at the bend of each wing, so finding a moulted one is cool. Even cooler - they're not blue! As with many other blue birds, the effect is structural colour, not pigment. Knowing it’s a trick increases the feather’s allure.

This is what an Iron Age motorway looks like!
It's a drove road in Somerset's Quantock hills. An ancient trackway where you really feel the history. But those amazing beech trees are more recent - European beech isn't very long-lived.

The more #Twitter followers folk have (or had) the harder it is (or was) to leave. Something changes - maybe around 5K followers - their identity gets so tied to follower count. They’re in thrall to the algorithm & can’t bear to lose their megaphone. This happens even to dear friends.
Some folk in their #introduction go “I hope to connect with many of my XXX Twitter followers as I can”. Forget your Twitter status, love.
It’s surely this that fuels the bird site’s toxic side. #TwitterMigration
