i like how the two kinds of technical people on fedi are like "i use a kubernetes cluster zfs offsite fucking bingle to store my memes it has 102% uptime" and "my computer is a dead smart bulb i found in the trash and i use ping packets to oracle.com as the filesystem. it serves the instance im posting from"
i don't fault anyone for learning but man i feel like there needs to be like a pre-cs year for non computer touchers where you just learn how to touch computers in a basic way or something first, like i know we're all here to learn but man it throws me when people are doing cs and they like. don't really know how to use a computer
i know true computer touching is not a lost art every couple months there's another 14 year old on here who's installed hannah montanna linux on a dishwasher
uwaa the borrowed nissan is so much better to drive than any of the other cars i've had access to over the past several years :blobfoxmeltsob: i missed cars that drive nice
kira dislikes car dependent infrastructure (undue pollution, unwalkability, society sliced into siloes and islands of civilization, dependence on shitty industry, traffic, oversized vehicle epidemic, driving around white people) but likes cars (human expression through design and engineering, fun to drive, cool to personalize (if i had my own ngfjshfjfJBnf), eurobeat)
@Chasteen@mekkaokereke i like how every single Big American Problem goes through this pattern of like "there's a Big American Problem" -> "it turns out a lot of people predicted the Big American Problem with spooky specificity" -> "you will never believe this but they were ignored because of capitalism and/or racism"
