@artemis @phaedral On the other hand, there are YouTube videos for how to fix just about anything that can be fixed. That is not the same as having the kind of intelligence needed to figure things out, but it is definitely something. Hopefully young people inherit their grandfather’s tools and they are still lying around to be used.

I need a movie about #ClimateCrisis #GlobalWarming #economy that has many young (16-40yr old) voices and treats degrowth as well as green new deal / tech solutions to energize a group where I live.

@bmacDonald94 @phaedral I discovered Z&TAOMM at 15. I would read a chapter and then sit and ponder. It got me to spend a year in a Zen community later in life. I recently listened to the audio book. It was beautiful, vulnerable, honest, imaginative, inspiring and brilliant. I owe so much to Pirsig and his journey.
