@bmacDonald94 Great anecdote! Vonnegut is one my favorites, but he never dazzled with his writing quite the way Catch 22 does. Vonnegut is more about the stories for me. Which is part of what makes Catch 22 so singular — great story and great language.

I finished reading Navalny’s memoir “Patriot” almost exactly at midnight.

We all live in Navalny’s world now, and people like Putin, Musk, and Trump would hate it most if you read his words and were inspired by them, so I urge you to include reading this book in your resolutions. More of us doing so might just make this year the beginning of a better future.
