    If you are fleeing #ProtonMail and you are not interested in self hosting, I just want to mention I have been very happy with #StartMail as a host. I am happy to share my experiences setting them up, under a custom domain name.

    @vagrantc I mean im used to Debian, I just don't like package breakages and keeping track of large migrations in sid in my daily driving OS.

    I really want a mnt computer device, but ultimately I think I need more #linux distro support before I feel comfortable dropping the cash. I dig the philosophy, & vibe. Seems like my kind of scene. But Debian Unstable as the only supported linux image, is kinda a dealbreaker. #mnt #mnt reform

    @silverwizard @vascorsd Sometimes, systemd adds features, which are not embraced uniformly across the entire Linux distro ecosystems. Hopefully this is one of them...

    ALSO luckily there are a few non systemd linux distros still hopping.

    @matoakit I just finished a multi-year rewatch with some friends plodding through the whole series + movies a few episodes a week, over webcam. Terrific stuff. The vast majority of which holds up as some truly excellent storytelling.

    The thing is about reporting on people like #BillGates, and what they have to say about #OpenAI and #MachineLearning. Is that they have direct financial interest in people getting on the #AI hype train. Reporting on their words at face value, like it's news; is journalistic malpractice.

    SO, when moving between Mastodon accounts, you can set the old account to redirect to the new account. One of the requirements for this is "The new account must first be configured to back-reference this one."

    What does this mean, when the new account is a #Friendica account? #Mastodon #Fediverse
