@obrhoff The whole premise of the show is a bit off, Star Trek-wise, isn't it? It's almost like TOS had a spin-off with Khan as the hero.
It's okay to let former favorites move on. (See also: LOTR and Star Wars.)

@obrhoff There's a surveillance aspect to it but, of course, there's something of that to the US-owned companies as well. Do you want China, the US or third-party marketers to have your private data?
@obrhoff Ageism after 35? Yow.
@obrhoff Germans and Indians are smarter? 🙂
It often has something to do with Android vs. iOS marketshare in a given country, but with that logic Flutter would be much more popular in India than Germany, but it's the opposite.
Maybe Indian preference is affected by doing so much outsourced work from the US?
@carnage4life « He is what people want. »
True enough. That said, I think it's unfair to take Trump's worst attributes and say *that* is what people wanted. No, *that* is what people are willing to settle for (assuming we agree on what those attributes are) in order to get what they want. Same goes for those who voted for Biden and Harris. And, if you go further back, a womanizer like Bill Clinton. (Do older Democrats remember voting for *him*?)
@hakona @carnage4life That doesn't explain 2016.
