They* had a choice, the data was laid down in front of them decades ago. They could have gone all "we need to stop burning fossil fuel" they made another choice, police militirization on the inside, hard (soon to be "smart" borders).

Taking this as an occasion to add an addendum, downloading (an outdated) copy of TAL is always useful

I personally always carry an (encrypted, ffs encrypt all the things) calibre library export of it which i can upload to the anarcho curious.

My radicalization protocol includes watching Andor with the anarcho 161 curious. giving them a copy of blesed is the flame and a copy of an Anarchist Library calibre export for their own use.

I don't have the patience of some of the peeps mentioned in the original post (anarchist burnout is a real thing, more on that subject later) it allows me when they open a conversation via signal or whatever to tell them, use calibre, check that keyword and make up your mind.

Not applicable in all situations but quite useful in some.
