Ads are poison.
Beyond just being an inconvenience and visibly degrading the quality and reliability of search results, ads also pose serious security risks.
That's why Kagi is and will always be free of ads.

We're honored to join the Shibuya Startups accelerator program in Japan! 🇯🇵
Japan has already become our #2 traffic source through organic growth, thanks largely to Kagi Translate, and we see tremendous potential to deepen our presence there.
Being part of this program opens doors to bring Kagi directly to Shibuya's libraries and schools.
To the Shibuya Startups community and fellow founders: thank you for welcoming us. Excited to build and grow alongside you. https://upshibuya.com/en/
Kagi's algorithms prioritize organic, non-commercial sources over ad-heavy or tracker-riddled sites. This really helps to surface unique, human-generated content from smaller blogs, authentic sites and forums.
@Greengordon @pluralistic Kagi Search isn't powered by AI. Any AI features can be turned off, with the option to also filter out AI images from results. The Assistant is entirely optional and you don't have to use it if it doesn't serve a need for you. The default experience of Kagi is AI-free.
With the Kagi for Libraries program, we'll offer free access to Kagi for public library patrons worldwide 📚
If your library is interested or you know a local public library that could benefit, encourage them to apply and help us expand this program:
You don't have to settle for this. You have better options.
Kagi turns 3!
