the thing is, being outraged about “people making jokes about killing white people” is silly

because it’s not a real thing that commonly happens, and even if it did, it’s not particularly harmful

it’s like being mad about anti-white racism from PoC or feminist misandry, it’s silly. and is at best an argument about aesthetics and effective rhetoric, and I agree it doesn’t have good optics and it’s not effective rhetoric

I wish for the white ‘race’ to be wiped out with race mixing, the existence of this politically defined historically “superior pure race” doesn’t help anyone, immigration is good, so called white replacement ‘theory’ (simply letting immigration happen and encouraging it) if actually implemented would improve the world

@kaia @snacks I’m not a very avid runner (or not a runner at all), but I can definitely reccomend shoes that are thinner and more flexible, especially something with a wider toe box (there’s some brands of hiking sandals that are my favorite, though obviously only for hot weather)

careful when switching to these kinds of shoes, you need to make sure your form is good (mostly ball of the foot to absorb impacts, no heel strike) and go easy because the small stabilizing muscles in your feet are probably weak and need conditioning if you spend most of your time in normal shoes

keep in mind though, the really thin barefoot style shoes shouldn’t be heavily used on asphalt or cement, hard surfaces fuck with your joints if you don’t have enough padding, softer surfaces like jogging tracks or dirt trails and such definitely work though

when all that is right I can bang out a 14 hour coding session and finish 80% of an assembler and simulator for an architecture I had defined the previous day

this was my bachelors graduation project btw, got an A on it, lol
