It's a metadata issue.
But to be honest, apart from the branding there is little difference now.
They claim the code base is the same, but there are a ton of UX differences from v.6 to v.8 which make it IMO slower and less usable.

To move from K9 to Thunderbird:
Export settings from K9,
Import from TB

Reenter all the passwords.
Quite seamless.

#yunohost has now a new release with lots of #webadmin improvements and a much better #packaging system!

There is now a tool to extract stuff from #docker images.

There are already over 400 #apps available in Yunohost!

Second that. Remember unless this is escalated in social media it will be likely a clueless poorly trained employee in a third party contractor dealing with your request.

Once admitting could be harder to revert this.

Patience and escalating this to a supervisor or better yet through social media.

So many good contributors to open source projects are Russian, it would be a huge loss to cut them out.
