No longer will be using Google Docs or Sheets, because Google Gemini AI has access to it. I will stick with iWork Pages and Numbers by Apple.

@BeAware I agree. I use #AI and automation tools every day, which tremendously speeds up my ability to complete all of my tasks.

What does everyone think about @mozilla bundling AI into #Firefox?

@BeAware Hasn't happened yet. I've even gone swimming with my iPhone in the sea. I get amazing video footage in some of the tropical locations I visit.

I wash my iPhone 14 Pro Max 📱 in the sink with water 💧 and soap 🧼. My wife always feels anxiety when I do that, but it comes out so sparkling clean!

@BeAware I was very active on #Threads, but this summer, after one year of use, I slowed my efforts on the platform.

My posts no longer receive the volume of reactions that they once did because their algorithm is such that you must be extremely active to hold your position of being seen. I just don't have time for that. I want to post whenever I want, frequently or infrequently, but still be seen. That's not achievable with @threads.

@BeAware You’re right, I’m new here, and still learning—I should refer to the network as a whole as the Fediverse, rather than Mastodon, correct?

And yes, Threads has an algorithm built in. You’re at the mercy of that, which is concerning. Like Instagram, you can build an audience, and then suddenly you’re invisible because Meta has changed something that prevents your account from being seen, even by your followers, because they want you to pay for ads to be seen. Not cool.

More people should be using #Mastodon. There’s no algorithm here to manipulate your thoughts and feelings.
