Thanksgiving in Japan, always odd, mostly because people here ask me to explain it. They've seen it in Ameircan movies and TV shows, and wonder what the origins are.

I explain that the pilgrims were starving, and the Native Americans fed them and there was a feast and community making........but then things didn't go so well, and there was a genocide.
