This afternoon, while walking my dog in the park, I bumped into a friendly German couple. We chatted about their experiences in Spain, and they were surprised to admit that they had no idea bullfighting was still taking place here. They mentioned that, had they known, they might have chosen a different destination for their vacation. This made me wonder: If so many people are opposed to animal cruelty, why do they spend their money traveling to countries that uphold such shitty traditions, specially in Europe?
