I think an underappreciated aspect of libraries is that you don't HAVE to finish the books you borrow.

If I buy a book and I don't enjoy it, I finish it anyway because I don't want to waste the money. Om top of this, I only buy books pretty sure I'll like.

The library is great! I can just take a book home, read a chapter, and return it if I get bored.
