Well if the company can with this have a bigger profit margin they are able to pay more to the manufacturer as well

Meaning they can jack up prices and both company and manufacturer profit

So as long as there are enough people buying soemthing at a given price it wouldn't make much of a difference i suppose

Except a regulating body now also has more effort to check if people are actually following that rule

@Rasp but if a company say sells a replacement screw for 250% of the price they buy it from they manufacturer (say 1 money unit) they would sell it at 2.5 units, if they aren't happy with that..

Why wouldn't they just.. yk, pay more for the partd like 2 and sell for 4.5 and make a deal with the manufacturer to return this extra capital in some other form (be it "we pay more per part here, but we also have an exclusive deal where you pay more for xyz")

So the newly imposed limit would just be arbitrary again?

@Rasp does that only count for games where romance etc is actually a topic or games where you just play as a character that does stuff (say hitman or smt)

@Rasp hm.. how would that change that specificly?
What I mean is that you need a lot of new folks that each pay a little so a few old people can live off of that.

Or do you mean paying the young ones more so you can take more to give to old folks?

@Rasp yes and no ig, at least with how stuff works rn (e.g. retirement).
Since that cant work like now when there are more/equaly as many old as new people
