essentially I want to center a <g> within a larger <SVG> but the <g> is randomly generated so I do no know how wide it will be.

because of the platform its to go on, I can't use JS or CSS/<div> etc.

help?

I don’t make many giftable items themselves, but I sell a few knitting and cross stitch patterns that people can make cool gifts from.

If it’s ok for YOU to use it with the slur, why exactly would anyone ELSE feel deterred? Especially when you are still displaying map art by OTHER people with slurs too? Doesn’t seem like slurs in general are really that much of a deterrent.

I mean, you’re talking about having to hide your base, displaying mapart with slurs, and taking people’s ‘secret’ stashes including stuff left at spawn that could conceivably help others (regardless of how it was produced)

You yourself may not be taking that outside of that server but it’s still toxic behaviour that is being normalised

I’m on another server that’s really community centred and usually pretty chill, but there’s one guy that spent a lot of time in places like 2b2t before us and he’s super annoying and hard to work with because of all the toxic shit he absorbed and shitty coping mechanisms he developed. It kinda sucks and while yeah “HISTORY” and “lore!” And etc but i kinda wish that damned server would just die so less people grow up thinking that it’s normal/acceptable

There’s a really nifty web app that you can just plug images into and it will convert them to the proper size and pick the right blocks for the colors.

Then you can just convert that into a schematic to follow. I don’t think I could do map art without the schematics - as I am very fond of saying: I can’t count in minecraft 😅

I love map art so much!
On my family’s server last season I did a whole bunch of actual art as map art for the museum we built.

Then I made a giant glass platform over the void in the end so I could make graffiti.
(A map taken of the end void shows up as ‘clear’ or invisible once placed in the world, so you can still see the blocks behind it)

This also works by surrounding chests in wool blocks for looting if there’s too many shriekers/sensors to find and neutralise

No worries, the game can be really confusing sometimes, and there’s often no clear diegetic hints on how to handle things.

Also, I’m sure you’ve noticed already but sneaking will not set off sensors, also walking on wool/carpet, and wool blocks can be used to block off sensors/shriekers to keep them from triggering.

Only Shriekers that spawned upon world creation can summon a warden, those created via xp skulk spread cannot.

Also, summoning shriekers can and do spawn in non city deep dark biomes

I....drew a...cat?

i really had no clue where i was going when I started the doodle, but ended up with this cat and now I'm starting to get plenty of ideas, and all of them involve shenanigans of one sort or another....

(although considering I'm still working with a mouse pen... further refining of the character will have to happen on actual paper, as i just can not manage to draw smoothly or accurately enough digitally without a stylus.)
