    Sounds like academics are as poorly funded as when I was in academia years ago, tho I did hear that postdocs get paid better in oz.

    Was there an announcement of the change?

    To me a move from an own domain to .substack.com is a downgrade for the site owner in terms of autonomy etc. Also substack.com could go out of fashion one day (like medium.com), so it would be safer to at least mirror new posts. In any case it makes sense to keep heterodorx.com and what's already there.

    To me as a reader/listener, with such a migration I'll still be able to read postings and listen to podcast episodes through RSS, but I won't be able to read the comments as easily because of all the javascript on substack - I'll have to launch tor browser or something for that. But comments are not a big deal.
