My one dog is such an asshole.

She she refuses to come inside until she sees proof that treats are involved. Will start barking like mad if you close the door or ignore her too long standing there, so fine, treats for coming inside.

Today she came in like 3 feet, saw that the treat I had taken out *wasn't the kind of treat she wanted*, then ran back outside to stand at the door until a better treat was offered.

She has become too powerful.

For #goblinweek someone should make a new programming language: goblang.

It should be a scripting language with no garbage collection, but no other memory management solution either -- the garbage just piles up until your computer crashes.

The tradeoff (presumably) is super fast iteration/instant feedback loop, and to be using the most common (and thus most documented / blogged about / forum-discussed) language.

Dependency hell is real, though. Important part of js dev is strategically picking your deps and knowing when to write something from scratch.

I definitely feel the deprecation warning after just 12 months thing lol. I swear sometimes I come back to a project after a weekend away and suddenly it's ancient.

@cadey When I used to play MUDs I had this problem every time I entered a new room.

It was so bad I had to alias "ls" to "look" in my client so I could function.
