    Wer noch eine gute Action Serie für kalte Winterabende sucht, dem empfehle ich „The Day of the Jackal“

    Vermutlich werden die meisten Film- und Serienfans die Verfilmung von 1997 mit Bruce Willis, Richard Gere und Sidney Poitier kennen. Oh Wunder, der Film wird auch gefühlt alle 6 Wochen im deutschen Fernsehen ausgestrahlt.

    Wenigen dürfte allerdings die Verfilmung von 1973 mit Edward Fox und Michael Lonsdale bekannt sein. Hin und wieder wird der auf ARTE gezeigt und ist wirklich ein spannungsgeladener Klassiker, basierend auf dem gleichnamigen Roman von Frederick Forsyth.

    Die Handlung des Films/Romans von 1973 beschreibt, angelehnt an reale geschichtliche Abläufe (Attentat von Petit-Clamart), die minutiöse Planung eines Attentats auf den französischen Präsidenten Charles de Gaulle durch einen bezahlten Killer und das Katz-und-Maus-Spiel des Attentäters mit der französischen Polizei.

    Die veränderte Handlung der Verfilmung von 1997, sowie der Serie von 2024 sind der moderneren Zeit angepasst und geben den Kern des Romans gut wieder.

    Auf meiner persönlichen Skala 8 von 10 Punkten.

    @morph Ich musste etwas warten, es herrschte reger Andrang in der Führerscheinstelle. Es gestaltete sich absolut problemlos und die Übernahme der Fahrerlaubnis für LKW's bis 7,5t wird automatisch übernommen. Das hatte ich etwas anders gelesen, aber letztendlich ja sehr erfreulich.

    @morph ⌂ Auha, da hast Du nicht gesagt, dass Du das Stunt-Double von Thomas Anders bist und immer zu den privaten Damen Geburtstagen geschickt wirst?! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
    Ich gehe da persönlich vorbei, das Kreishaus ist nur ein paar Straßen weiter. Ich muss da nachfragen, weil ich mit meinem Führerschein (ehemals Klasse 3) sogar noch LKW's bis 7,5 Tonnen fahren darf. Da möchte ich gewährleisten das mir das Erhalten bleibt und da gab es etwas zu beachten.

    Das mit den 7,5 Tonnern haben wir uns neulich auchmal gefragt. Es herrscht gefährliches (!) Halbwissen.

    ich hatte da im letzten Jahr schon etwas dazu gelesen. Man kann da wohl leicht in eine Falle tappen. Donnerstag gehe ich zur Führerscheinstelle und bin dann „gewappnet“.
