I would like to believe in the ‘structural’ advantage. Yet currently, I still feel a bit sceptic towards this claim.

@evan what’s the ‘core idea’ that underpinned the development of AP (say up until W3C TR 2018) from your point of view?

National membership is required to join local instance
If so, it sounds to me like there needs to be a nationwide auth server?
