Also, I guess growing up I’d have never ordered restaurant soup. I’d have heated up a can myself. Or, actually, mom would’ve made me some miso or other type of soup. I miss my mom. ☀️

I feel happy I didn’t have to expose anyone to my germs and still got some good soup. I love #tomYum soup when I’m sick. The spicy really helps my throat and clears my sinuses.

The world & times have changed. I used #UberEats for the first time (since I’m sick). A driver named Lamont delivered it & left a photo of my food by the door. I gave a $5 tip. It was #TomYumSoup with pork & sticky rice. I ate too much—my stomach feels enormous. 🤢 In the past I’d have asked a friend for help or would have gone myself. ATM, I’m marveling at how convenient technology made this. Also, I loved that Lamont arrived on a bicycle (according to Uber). #random #sick #delivery #things

I walked this morning. It’s makahiki season, so wintery weather (for Hawaiʻi). The sun rises later so I have a better shot at catching it as it creeps into the sky from behind #DiamondHead #Lēʻahi #sunrise #Waikīkī

@sand It’s a community college library! I don’t know why, but the last 4 years I’m the only one to dress up. I will do it though… for the students. But I’m not on the reference desk this year on Halloween, so it’s a bit less likely folks will see me. I’m gonna do it! Your posts motivated me and I motivated myself writing this. 😂

@sand I’m debating if I’m gonna dress up atm. 😂 I work in a library with surprisingly un-spirited coworkers when it comes to stuff like this. 🤷🏻♀️

This made me think of my friend who was born during the Leo/Virgo cusp and says he has both traits but pulls more Leo.

@sand This resonated with me even though I don’t drink coffee. I haven’t been in this exact situation, but I understand. I personally would want my coworker to have their coffee so they function and feel better, but I know not everyone would feel that way.

@sand Hope they start giving you more time to complete projects at work. That sounds tough.

@sand But that’s hard. I don’t think they should expect you to work overnight all the time since you have family obligations and need some downtime when you go home. I imagine commuting and getting dressed to go into the office also adds to your workday now, so, it may be good to set boundaries. Now I’m curious to keep scrolling and find out what you did! 2/2

@sand This is hard. By now you probably made your choice, but I think it probably depends on a variety of factors. Like, how long/hard it would be to complete and who this person is and what it’s for. But in some ways explaining you had already left for the day and need more advance time in the future might help get people accustomed to asking earlier in the day and not relying on you to do things so last-minute. 1/

@sand Sorry to hear they pulled you back in to the office. I don’t know why some folks can’t see the benefits and let their workers wfh when it makes sense.
