You can walk in late with your Pike Place and not look like a dick for stopping for coffee while running late.

@sand This resonated with me even though I don’t drink coffee. I haven’t been in this exact situation, but I understand. I personally would want my coworker to have their coffee so they function and feel better, but I know not everyone would feel that way.
