“Just ignore them”

As discussed previously, of course I can adjust my notifications filter to ignore them. But the problem is that they will drown out my replies section, where I won’t see them but my followers will, which will drastically degrade the quality of further discussions

It used to be a minor annoyance. But with the amount of trolls scaling up and empowered on the site, I feel like it’s no longer possible to have a civil discussion there

I deactivated my Twitter account myself, not by Twitter

Since the takeover, I’ve been getting an increased amount of casual racism and sexual harassments on the bird site

I guess expecting people to be respectful to one another online by default is too much to ask and apparently “woke”? And being a dick to people for no reasons is now appreciated on the platform??

I feel like this would’ve gotten worse. So I deactivated, and I don’t know for how long this time…

Even after I deactivated my Twitter account, the app still hasn’t kicked me out and my Twitter timeline is still getting updated with new tweets from the people I follow

While archiving my Twitter data, I’ve also decided to transfer my Google Photos (~338 GB) into iCloud

Then my laptop ran out of storage, which led to me cleaning up all the caches, unused files, etc to squeeze out the space

So today ended up becoming my digital housecleaning day ??
