   A “web3” company acquiring a Mastodon instance also makes a little sense to me:

   There‘s already web3-native technologies out there like Lens Protocol and Farcaster. One could’ve added ActivityPub capabilities from there. It’s a protocol after all

   Buying a Mastodon instance and then trying to fork/add web3 capabilities from there (making it less as compatible with the rest of Mastodon instances (if not already defederated)) feels out of place imo

     @wongmjane The owner of the Mask seems to acquire Pawoo with considering the culture of contacts. The owner refrains A Declaration of the Independence of Cyberspace.

     I agree you’re pointing out, Mask is the really first company have mega fediverse and big crypto fund. I hope him staring to develop something.
