Short form isn't really conducive to explaining, but now that I understand yours I can adapt.

I would guess that she rejects (modern) equity arguments on pragmatic grounds. 16 children are a simple microcosm of domestic issues. Consider, between 2 people there is one relationship- but between 18 there are 153. The day to day operation of her household requires an exercise of power that DINC influencers cannot comprehend.
