@schratze to quote Sherlock Holmes, "whatever remains, after giving up hope for all the other fuckers, we must grudgingly vote for"

Good news, Marmite is gay now

It works! I can hear people talking! My neighbours are definitely judging me!

Will try talking back to people tomorrow

Getting tempted to move my stuff from GitHub to Codeberg, maybe for everything except my website and its comment system at least. Those are probably stuck forever unless I want to pay for a "real" server and rewrite the comment system 😕

@M0YNG thanks, it's definitely cheaper than last time I had a VPS. I have been thinking about moving some stuff like Wavelog from a home server to the cloud and consolidating stuff there, but there are blockers to most things: the github-based comments for the blog, expensive storage for nextcloud, etc. that mean I have some more work to do first!

(My imagination is now helpfully playing out this scenario for me. It's the war room from Dr Strangelove but a general has just used the phrase "Strategic Blåhaj Reserve")

Note that when I say "arm trans kids" I am not advocating violence. The weapons are strictly for deterrence. This is why, if a kid comes out as trans, they should be issued one (1) UGM-133A Trident II intercontinental ballistic missile

Finally got around to it. This one goes out to all the folks who for some reason wanted a Billy Bass that plays Basket Case but didn't want to pay $79 to enter a fucking raffle. (Sorry Green Day, love you really)

We regretfully announce that I am back on my bullshit again

✅ Smart meter installed
✅ API configured in Home Assistant
✅ Data published to MQTT server
✅ Billy Bass with an ESP32 in it
❎ Spousal permission to make the Billy Bass warn you about high electricity usage

@alison @schratze oh god how do I un-read this
