@clacke 200ms → 60ms! It feels a lot better! I still wish it were faster. Also I don’t write Python for work these days so I am not sure whether there are compatibility issues, but for the local Python scripts I have micromamba works fine!

conda singlehandedly takes up 85% of my zsh startup time (170 ms out of 200 ms)!!! Used for i in $(seq 1 10); do time zsh -i -c exit; done to check. Switching to micromamba now…

@clacke If heat retention is what you’re going for, I have an enameled cast iron Dutch oven that works OK! It is indeed super heavy though. Don’t know of any which only have cast iron on the bottom unfortunately…
