@jeder@miau.jeder.pl Spending hundreds of euros on a stupid Apple product sounds like a very bad way to deal with having to wait a few weeks for a kernel release.

You can probably also just unstable kernel of your favorite distro to get the required fixes earlier. Very interesting because I had a T495 as my work laptop for a long time and I never had any stability issues with it.

Because with the constant kernel panics, bad performance and strange bugs I feel like something not software related is at play here.

@steph@fedi.steph.tools You do need to specify the algorithm you want to use if you want to create an archive tho, it doesn't autodetect it based on filename I believe.
