@feorlen @mekkaokereke I find that infuriating because of the underlying assumption that we're not supposed to care about things that don't directly affect us. That's why I still hate the revised meme about intervening when things don't affect us because they will eventually come for us. No, we intervene about things that don't directly affect us because we should be decent human beings concerned about other human beings.

@mekkaokereke So is Denzel worth sitting through the movie? I really don't want to go, but Denzel is in it, and Pedro, but I see what you wrote about him being wasted.

Favorite film I saw recently is #FlowMovie . Animated, no human dialogue, just animal and nature sounds. Loved it.

Other films I've recently loved are #Anora #AnoraFilm and #EmiliaPerez . And #Magpie #MagpieMovie , available on streaming platforms.
