I have one profile on my server (2019.12) that when changing to the network stream comes up with a white screen and: /network?order=post it get's somehow stock on that, the other streams /home and so on work.
some kinda work around or setting to get out of that "trap"?
See this guide for a general guide on how to install Friendica on a shared hosting service. friendica on shared hosting? is this old, or same as always, more or less working?
In my opinion there is way to much talk about what I as a poster have to do to publish in a proper manner and way to less talk about the filter and blocking features our systems have. It's literally impossible to avoid triggers or the trigger of the moment. For me CW is just an input space and can have depending on user and culture several use cases.
First of all hashtags and standard words should be used in my opinion to enable people to sort and safespace their stream.
Why is it that friendica uses the term "abstract", there is no "warning" in that term?
something like a window that opens and closes, displayes and hides?
with coding I only mean "not human readable" aspect. "warning" is a human readable aspect that leads to confusion, actually we are used to nsfw as "warning", at least I do.
there was a recent CW discussion on mastodon and diving into the context of it it looks to me like it's just a spoiler, even more from the coding point of view.
federating spoilered content from mastodon shows up as "content warning", couldn't that wording just be changed to "spoiler" or "content"?
yeah but that's a mastodon argument tho. Over here that doesn't matter at all. As some kinda hidden message in any case sounds interesting! Could lead to terribly confusing conversations! ?
@hypolite Image descriptions on friendica? HowTo? and HowTo display the existing ones?
