Journalists call it a mass shooting and do not report how many were shot.

They only talk about the number killed.

To be injured by an AR15 is far worse than we can imagine: shattered bones, scrambled organs.

We should talk about the number of surgeries on the injured, the years of recovery and rehabilitation.

These are massive impacts on these people and their families. Almost as devastating as the deaths.
