Day 181 of Israel's continued terrorism, and genocide, and one comes across comments where people show "skepticism" over death toll of Palestinians. 30,000 isn't believable, sounds exaggerated. Is 20,000 okay then? What number is believable enough to jolt your indifferent conscience into acknowledging this crime against humanity? Even if you're as helpless as I am writing this, knowing no words can ease their sufferings, one must find in our heart some empathy & compassion for brave Palestinians

@seanbala Sean this is everyday reality faced by many Indian women using social media. Some of my friends are influencers and I can't begin to tell how much harassment they endure or are forced to ignore. I was away from social media for many many years for the same reason. Tbh if this continues, I'll be happy to leave this space also. It's not worth my peace of mind. If I've to pick a battle, I would pick a worthy cause. Not some imbecile looking for attention. Ignoring isn't a solution either.

Indian men hands down ace at harassing women online and in their surroundings. There must be a massive reformation of Indian men mentality which is so regressive thanks to patriarchy at its very core.

We need feminism because

I am trying to be more tech conscious & experimenting with a few things I may have missed in past five years of digital hibernation. One of these things is live streaming, I tried it & on Day 1 was greeted with someone who kept calling me a whore. Btw I was reading Bhagavad Gita in that stream. So I paused my reading & asked that person why would he come online to mindlessly abuse someone. He said it's because his wife cheated & divorced him. And he has a crush on me. What's wrong with men? 🤦🏻♀️
