In Pondy, Christmas time is all about streets that are full of scintillating decorations and lit up houses. There's a palpable joy one feels walking around the streets and going to churches where you see people come with their families and spend time in this halo of warmth. In the photograph is the Sculpture of Virgin Mary holding young Jesus in one arm and sceptre in another. There's a warm glow above her head coming from the ceiling lamp and a star shaped decoration hanging from that lamp. On her feet are a bunch of red daisies flower arrangement. It's from Our Lady of Angels Church at Dumas Street, Pondicherry.
