I went ‘possum spotting’ out the front, but didn’t see anything this time.

I’ve seen them before. There’s nothing quite like having a medium sized creature drop out of a tree and scamper off, just as you run past it on an early morning jog.

Ok Australia, help me out.

There’s something in the tree (I think) outside going “BWAAAAAAH”, with a real croaky element to the tail of the “AAAAAH”.

It’s 10PM and cold and windy.

Any ideas what it is?

Remember, Australian possums are much much cuter than American possums.

I know the doctors like to use fancy terms like “infection”, “bacteria”, and “gunk” … but I’m on to their game.

It’s pretty obvious to me when my evil doppelgänger from the mirror dimension is trying to take control of my body.

Those know-it-alls in the so called medical profession won’t trick me otherwise.

Occasionally I give Pippin cat responsibility to run the house.

It’s great!

Sure it’s true that absolutely nothing gets done… but I get a big old break, and can rest easy knowing that none of this mess is my fault.

I'm looking at a cat who has 96 minutes till afternoon feed time.

They keep staring into my eyes and opening their mouth at me...

... but all I can hear is 'All Star' by Smash Mouth.

Apparently my noise cancelling headphones also block out cat meows.

I'm not sure what I should do with this great and terrifyingly powerful new ability of mine....

@Dangerous_beans Obviously there’s a few issues to be worked through, but I’m retaining a positive outlook on this plan.

While objectively ‘a bit cool’, I’m all for 15 degrees and a bit of wind in #Canberra this evening after the recent hot days.
