when im feeling down i go on random websites and paste the eicar test file into the contact form

@aks@scalie.zone the fact that fedora specific flatpaks even exist is still beyond me.

on my way home saw a car completely in a ditch, back wheels in the air, oops.

i still dont know what i should do CPU wise, going AM5 and DDR5 is tempting but really expensive, AM4 doesnt have many energy efficient options.

i pretty much got storage figured out though, i'll just go 2x16TB in Raid1, doubles my current capacity and is much safer.

fearing the day i build a new nas and i have to migrate terrabytes of data to the new system..

will probably just build an entirely new server and run them both at once while i migrate.

our christmas bonus arrived and because company was late when paying it we basically got none of it cause of taxes

how tf did i get a 500€ christmas bonus but my payslip was almost the same as last monthsl

holy shit i just came back to my PC and it suspended and then recovered without exploding??? this is truly the year of the lunix desktop

im really starting to feel hopeless with my fursona, i really want to do something "new" or majorly revise it but i have no idea what i could do, i just dont feel like anything fits me, asking my friends has been exceptionally unhelpful, one can barely tell me a random number between 1 and 10 and others try to convince me to do a sona im not interested in.

"well just ask your friends what they think would fit you" is great but then i ask my friends and i get no serious suggestions

if i had to pin 3 things i want to keep from my current sona it'd be
- species stays k9
- 2 blues (one brighter one darker)
- some white on the body

beyond that, what i would actually change? no clue.

mr2 postmortem:
battery was flat, had to push the car out of the parking spot and jump it, alternator would not charge
also hooked up the antenna and it still won't go down, guess its fried.

#2024 has been a year! many things have happened this year, from moving in with another furry (eww!) to buying an MR2, so many weird and wonderful things have happened, one particular thing i've been enjoying most has been photography, so here's 4 pics for almost every event i attended and some shoots i've done!

first event of the year, february's #ruhrfurmeet! this event shall see me attend many more times, never gets old.

And directly following that is May's #ruhrfurmeet, a special event, with a special location, free beer and a dancefloor, my favourite one of this year, by far.

Next up, Marler Furrystammtisch, this one is multiple months in one, this furmeet sadly no longer exists due to issues with the location.
