@sand Maybe look at it this way. Just because you buy something doesn’t mean you have to use it (at least not right away). Enjoy the victory in getting it for a good price. Plenty of time for regret or guilt at not using it later on.

Grateful I returned home to my family 23 years ago.
Grateful that people still remember and reverently pay respects to those who were lost.
Grateful the #WTC was rebuilt, not as it was so to ignore or forget what happened, but bigger and better, acknowledging and in homage to those terrible events.
The world changed that day and not for the better. It’ll never be the same, we must go on.

I don't disagree but it’s easy to get emotional and tear down but the hard work is in building up. How do we defeat these forces of darkness without becoming once of them? How do we change the narrative so the lost come over to our side? The day to day hard work isn’t glamorous, it doesn’t make a good story, but is worthwhile nonetheless.
