if you use AI to generate "art", understand that whatever your intention, you are engaging in anti-art and anti-artist behavior. You are directly participating in the theft and abuse of artists' work, which is bad enough, but you are also flirting with the destruction and retroactive erasure of art as a concept.

Many artists *want* you to "steal" (share) their art.

No artists want to be ripped off (plagiarized) by a predatory consortium of the world's most ghoulish venture capitalists.

I fundamentally believe that the web is supposed to enable this really cool phenomenon where you can see something I think and be my friend for 45 seconds. You, wherever you were in relation to me temporally, culturally, financially, whatever. Our connection could be as short as a moment and as deep as a lifetime.
