If you think #threads is "the fediverse", because it can *publish* to it, then you missed the point of the #fediverse. Threads still can't fully interact with the real fediverse. That tells you all threads wants is to bait.

Decentralized. NOT controlled by a large corporation which dictates what and how we can see and interact.

#DTBO (douchebag techbro billionaire owned) socmedia might even *interact* with the fediverse, but they are entirely antithetical to it.
