@fu@Radical_EgoCom Isn't the point that those with the least power end up with the worst deal? The idea of going back to work 6 weeks after giving birth is shocking. In the UK, the minimal allowance by law enables mothers to take up to 12 months per baby, 9 months of which is paid. Many workplaces have better arrangements for mothers but those are not of interest here.
@fu@Radical_EgoCom It's 6 weeks unpaid medical leave, isn't it? I guess it's more than 0 but viewed from the UK I find it jaw dropping and cruel. Compared to the 12 months maternity leave I had, it does feel like no time off.
