@raccoonformality@mastodon.gamedev.place Nope! It's an entirely different software that runs on the Fediverse, so it can communicate to and from Mastodon while being its own thing! We have unique features like emoji reacts, quotes, more timelines, blog pages, and a whole lot more!

Codeberg was an amazing place to host truly FLOSS projects, but I feel that they've had quite a few problems lately.

- Willingness to host cryptobro/NFTshit projects
- Lack of response from the team
- Bugs and ratelimits
- Extreme slowdowns and outages
- Lack of portability

@thatonecalculator@stop.voring.me @Codeberg@social.anoxinon.de looks like ratelimits were hit either on my or their end, not sure which, but i was looking in the config to see if there's any settings to change them to fix it if it was my end and there doesn't seem to be a way to change the rate limits :woozy_baa:

@hanna@snug.moe @Codeberg@social.anoxinon.de This is frankly a big problem not just for Codeberg, but for Gitea/Forgejo as a whole. In the event of failures like this, @forgejo@floss.social should allow people to export full backups of repos, including issues/prs/etc, as a zip/tar that can be imported elsewhere.
